GETTING AROUND
You need a car in Maui. Book early for the best rates. You have the usual car rental companies such as Thrifty, Budget, Hertz, Dollar, Avis, etc. Turo.com is another option to rent from individuals. Below is a local company, Maui Budget Cars. If you mention you're here for our Yoga Event, they'll give you a 10% Discount.

ACCOMONDATIONS
The region of Maui where the classes are being held is called ‘upcountry’ and there are not many hotels nearby. The nearest towns are Makawao, Haiku, Olinda, Kula, Pukalani, Paia and Sprecklesville. You may search online with www.airbnb.com or www.vrbo.com to explore the possibilities. As with the cars it is best to plan ahead to find the most appropriate place for your needs.

Each of these places are unique. Maui is not inexpensive so it is always a good idea to do a bit of searching to find the right place to suit your individual needs. When researching where to stay keep in mind the distance. Maui is an island but it is larger than you think. The most practical regions to consider are Makawao, Haiku, Olinda, Kula, Pukalani, Paia or Sprecklesville. These areas are within a 15 - 20 minute drive to the studio. The business area of Maui is called Kahului and there are some hotels and other options there. It’s about a 25 minute drive from the studio. If you have visited Maui before and have favorite places to stay and would like to share that information please let us know and we will pass it along.
LOCATION
For the summer of 2024, we will be meeting in the studio where Nancy Gilgoff has been teaching for over three decades. There’s a LOT of history within the walls of the simple wooden building, and we are honored to teach in the space. The studio is located on Kaupakalua Road, just beyond Puuomalei Road.
Once registered, you will receive specific instructions on how to find the property.
PARKING
Turn in the driveway off of Kaupakalua Road. As you proceed in it will bend to the right. The studio is the on your left. There are greenhouses straight ahead. Do NOT park in the greenhouse area.
